Some missing persons’ cases get day-to-day publicity and endless news coverage as the world wonders what became of them.

Unfortunately, most don’t. If there’s no juicy details that might come up, if the person just vanished, and if they vanished because they were abducted by a family member, there’s no news story.

Those are the cases I’m most interested in. I’ve followed family abductions and more obscure disappearances since 2003, and I’ve gathered a ton of information about both. Even if you know who the person is, I hope to give you some new information or some speculation that might make you think about the case differently.

Four different case types a month

Each month, you’ll get takes on four types of cases: a family abduction, a less well-known missing person, a case of a juvenile who isn’t on NCMEC, an unidentified person, and often a more general take on an issue related to missing people.
